Festive Knitting Class Postponed

Sometimes life interferes with fun and this is one of those occasions. Judy's Festive Knitting Class has been postponed. Judy will do her best to create the cybersock class for us as soon as she can.

Annabelle's Entrelac Socks

Jackie's Errant Ankles Lace Socks

Summer's here and what could be better than cool lacey socks to wear with your favorite sandals or clogs? In Jackie's class you will start with the basics of lace structure and go on to learning how to cast on and knit lace in the round, reading charts, shaping the ankle and handling the instep transition between lace and ribbing. As with the majority of our classes, there is a message board for your questions to the instructor.

Judy's Kick-back Two-color Socks

Four lessons (plus extra credit) will take you from planning your sock, through learning two-handed, two-color knitting techniques, trying different heel designs right down to finishing the toe. There is a message board available for all your questions.

Edie's Argyle Socks

Edie's Argyle socknitting lessons are back! These five lessons, with graphs and photos will take you through two different methods of making argyle socks...one with knitted in lines and one with the lines duplicate stitched in later. There is a message board available for asking questions of Edie as you go along.

Denise's Toe Up Socks

Denise's class on the Toe-up class will take you from an explanation of why you should make Toe-up socks to how to cast on and start the increases necessary for the toe to making a heel in reverse right through to the stretchy bind off you'll need for the cuff. Six lessons, one preliminary assignment on making symmetrical increases and many, many beautiful charts and photos explain every step clearly and concisely.
