|
|
Hi all! I am brand new to sock knitting and to the forum so I hope I am not asking a cliche question but...
I love the slipped stitch gusset (k1, sl1 or similar) that you get when you knit top-down socks but I also love to knit toe-up two at a time on two circs. Is there a pattern out there where I can incorporate all of these things?
Thanks!

Toni:
Mary Ann Beattie has the pattern you are looking for in her book Crazy Toes & Heels available at www.queenkahuna-creations.com
I feel like an advertiser since I am always pushing this book! It is the best book for toe-up options, at least in my opinion, and well worth the price. Mary Ann also has a yahoo knitting forum based on her book.

Nice site, otherwiseka!
I know there is almost anything free out there on the internet, but I confess I don't spend much time looking for it. I ususally just look in my books, because I love any excuse to look at a book. It's nice to have all those sites for different heels and toes listed in one spot. Thanks!
