Love Seattle too Tracy; made the beautiful drive from Vancouver to there one year.
Pete, thanks. The friendliness you show each other was definitely a draw to this site.
Hey Judy, I’ll read for sure and try to comment. As to actually knitting; I’m very very slow!
Appaloosa, it sure getting cold here now; winter will be here too soon! Brrrr! |

Hello, my name is Pam from a small town in southern california, about 40mi. north of san diego. I'm only about 2 years new to sock knitting & quite addicted. learned to knit around 8, but put it down & didn't pick it back up till lately.
I meet on mondays at our local library for knitting from 12-3 with other knit friends, so if you're ever in valley center on mondays come by..
I hope I posted my intro in the correct place.
Still learning the forum, but loving it'

Hello Pam, and welcome from me too. I'm afraid I won't see you at your knitting group - it being on the other side of the world.
Hope you have fun here _________________ To Err is Human

| I'm from Kearny, NJ. I've been a very long time crocheter and about 6 yrs of self-taught knitting. I'm working on 3 projects right now - knitting a pair of knee socks for a 4 yr old girl; crocheting a baby blanket for a friend's DIL; and finally knitting a doll blanket for the 4 yr old little "babies". |
