You're welcome. It's a free subscription site with knitting help.http://knitfreedom.com/

So my parents who are about to turn 80 this year are feeling very vulnerable. A second Aunt of mine has just passed away yesterday (in Holland so I won't make the funeral) and again from Cancer. Mom has a doctor's visit on Monday to discuss biopsy results from a lump in her knee and they asked her to bring Dad. Good thoughts and prayers are requested!

Oh dear, Vi! I'm a little late on the news. I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. I am keeping you and your Mum and Dad in my thoughts and prayers. Sending good vibes your way.

Blazing hot and sunny, laundry on the line and another load in the machine. Clouds scudded in in a minute, a huge crack of thunder and the rain poured down. So much for dry laundry. The temp has dropped 10 degrees with the storm, which now sounds like it's on the other side of the ridge and the sun is coming back over the lake to the north. Still too hot to knit, 'though. Perfect conditions to clean out the fridge, a job I've avoided for jeesh - a year? Thinking of all those plastic containers to be cleaned out and bleached is almost enough to make me take out some mohair. Guess I ought to get to it!

Well, last Friday (the 17th) was my birthday so maybe the dance was for me, or maybe not. Smile
Wasn't such a nice birthday as we spent the evening at the funeral home as a long time friend of ours was killed in a tragic farming accident. Dale wasn't going to go but I told him we really should.

This summer hasn't been so good for birthdays for us. Dale's mom died the day before his birthday/father's day and then Darrel's showing was on mine. Enough is enough.
Oh, and Dean (Dale's brother) was here on our anniversary to help them go through things at his mom's.
Glad we don't have anymore special days coming up for awhile.

Judy

So Happy Belated Birthdays to Judy and Lou! Sorry I missed the days! And sorry Judy it hasn't been a better time for you. Let's hope the rest of the year is much better.

*Hugs!*

I could see Larry turning on the washing machine, if it was in the morning and you need the help of the cold water to wake up, but any other time of the day, no!
