how does this forum work? i have been trying to figure it out since i joined and still don't know how to even open the mail or know when i have mail, can someone PLEASE explain it to me.

If you look under the socknitters print logo on the front of the webpage you will see three names in black. Mary is the site moderator and may be able to help you with the email question.
