Somebody sent me that video - it's a hoot. My work life is way too much like that. LOL. Tracy, I'm getting the harmony set, too. Totally convinced. Not only do my hands hurt, but the light reflecting on the metal hurts my left eye while I'm knitting. Not a good thing.
On a completely unrelated note, I found the mitts pattern at Ravelry. The one I couldn't recall the name of, remember? And thought I'd found the pattern. But no. The pattern called Susie's Reading Mitts is it - I just finished mitt #1 in a green handpainted Stroll from KPs and it's a loverly pattern. Very delicate and lacy looking. I used the middle size for fingering weight yarn and #1 and 2 needles (both at the same time as I have various projects OTNs). The only part of this pattern that's a bit unclear is the gusset, but I just switched to how I usually do it. Anyway, go check it out if you're on Ravelry. Nice! I'll be making some for myself and probably a bunch more as gifts. _________________ SK Rescue Site

I went to see the pattern for Susie's reading mitts and they are GORGEOUS! Thanks Dani, it was exactly what I was looking for! I have been looking for wrist warmers for ages and found some but they didn't turn my crank that much. These are beautiful! _________________ Appaloosa

Lou, I just finished the green reading mitts for my Little Pickle Press boss - and they are lovely. I used sock yarn, size 2s, the middle size, and that would do for a relatively narrow hand. For myself, I'd likely use the medium size with a DK or light worsted maybe size 4 needles, but go the larger size with sock yarn and smaller needles. It takes some fiddling between yarns and needle sizes. Really, I couldn't be more pleased with this pattern though. It's so pretty with the sweet eyelet top and bottom. Aud, I wish I'd saved your yarn for this pattern, dang. _________________ SK Rescue Site
